Former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu has backed the team to beat Cote d’Ivoire in their next game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Jose Peseiro’s side will lock horns with the hosts at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Thursday.
The Super Eagles opened their campaign with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
Kanu is however upbeat the three-time champions will get things right against the Elephants.

“We believe we have a team of top talents who have a good chance against Cote d’Ivoire in their next game.
“I will back them to win this game.”
