Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has disclosed that Kelechi Iheanacho is ready to join the rest of the Super Eagles squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Portuguese revealed that the forward has completed his treatment for a muscular injury.
“Kelechi will arrive Cote d’Ivoire. He has finished the treatment at Leicester City,” Peseiro told NFF TV.
The striker was injured at his English club and stayed back to recover fully for the AFCON.
His Leicester City teammate, Wilfred Ndidi has already been ruled of the competition due to injury. READ ALSO:

Bayer Leverkusen star, Victor Boniface will also also miss the AFCON with a groin injury.
The competition will start this weekend with the opening game between hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau.
