A Public Relations expert, and one of the founding Editors of Ovation International Magazine, Akinrogun Alaba Yusuf has described the Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Olumide Adepoju as a leader who embodies sterling qualities for progress and radical development in a strategic organization like the Nigeria Space Agency.
He made the statement today during a courtesy call on the NASRDA BOSS at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja.
Akinrogun Yusuf who lauded Adepoju for his exceptional leadership and vision in advancing the Nigerian space industry, said the current NASRDA Boss is a very unique man that walks the talk.
According to him , the Space Agency had achieved a significant milestone by having the caliber of Dr. Adepoju as its helmsman, adding that the Director General’s dedication, finesse and intellectual strength, has placed the Agency on a path of glory, innovation and excellence.
Akinrogun Yusuf described his maiden official visit to the NASRDA boss since assumption of office as homecoming, pointing out that he has a longstanding relationship with the Space Agency which according to him dates back to 2003.
He expressed delight at the progress recorded thus far under Dr. Adepoju’s leadership and attributed much of the success stories to the Director General’s high level of commitment, patriotism and expertise, which he noted had been effectively brought to bear to enhance the Agency’s operations and capabilities.
Akinrogun Yusuf emphasized that the bold initiatives being implemented under the Director General’s guidance reflects a clear vision and strong commitment to national development through Space technology.
He said NASRDA is a national dream and vision that required exceptional leadership to achieve its full potential, acknowledging that Dr. Adepoju is no doubt steering the Agency toward realizing this vision with the Agency becoming more visible, impactful, and strategically aligned with national and global priorities.
He encouraged the management and staff of the Agency to continue to accord the Director General their utmost support, stressing that collective efforts and teamwork were essential for the growth and development of the Agency, particularly in the successful actualization of its mandates.
Akinrogun Yusuf also commended the Agency’s Media and Corporate Communications Department for its strategic efforts in promoting NASRDA’s public image and relevance both nationally and internationally.
He said the high level of professionalism by various staff of NASRDA’S Media and Corporate Communications Department had significantly contributed to building trust and confidence in the laudable mission and objectives of the Space Agency, particularly in recent time.
Akinrogun Yusuf expressed optimism about the future of NASRDA under Dr. Adepoju’s guidance, stating that the Director General’s leadership had infused the Agency with renewed energy and purpose which he said remains a driving force for innovation and national development.
The NASRDA boss, Dr. Matthew Adepoju expressed delight for the visit and acknowledged with gratitude the kind words by his guests, particularly the confidence reposed in his administration.
He also appreciated the visitor for being a reliable and worthy ally of the Space Agency adding that NASRDA will continue to appreciate him as an integral part of the Space community.
Dr. Adepoju thereafter reaffirmed his commitment to securing NASRDA’s pride of place in the global society through the continued cooperation and support of its staff.
Akinrogun Alaba Yusuf who is also the President of Okarufe Cultural Foundation Worldwide was accompanied on the visit by the Former Director of Early Warning Department of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS),Dr Abdou Lat Gueye.
