Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Tosin Adarabioyo, according to reliable transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
The Nigerian-born defender has become one of the Premier League’s most in-demand players due to being out of contract at Fulham this summer.
Adarabioyo turned several overtures from Fulham to sign a new contract.
Newcastle United have been in discussion with the tall centre-back for few weeks now but now appear to have lost out to Chelsea.
The Blues have reportedly reached the final stages of negotiation and are very close to making him the club’s first signing in the Enzo Maresca era.
Adarabioyo will come in as a replacement for veteran defender Thiago Silva, who recently returned to his boyhood club Fluminense.
