By Akeem Oyetunji Determined to authenticate the PhD certificate of President Goodluck Jonathan, the Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law has applied to the University of Port Harcourt, Choba for his academic records.
In a letter dated February 2, 2015 and addressed to the Vice Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt, the Institute stated that the request was made under the Freedom of Information Act on behalf of Omano Edigheji, PhD, a Nigerian Citizen”.
The letter was received in the office of the Vice Chancellor on February 3, 2015 and stamped
The letter signed by Nsirimovu Courage, the Access to Justice Programme Officer states thus:

Prompt News recalls that it was rumoured in the social media recently that President Jonathan did not complete his PhD programme hence, the need for this clarification.
