AC Milan and Villarreal have scheduled talks for Wednesday (today) to discuss the potential transfer of Samuel Chukwueze.
Milan had a €25m bid rejected for the Nigeria international few weeks ago.
Villarreal want €35m to sell the Nigeria international.
According to Calciomercato, AC Milan will seek a reduction in the fee during the meeting.
Chukwueze has one year remaining on his contract and is not willing to sign an extension.
The winger was named best African player in the Spanish top-flight last season.
The 24-year-old has also been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
