By Godwin Ojoshimite, Lafia A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC ) in Nasarawa state, Adamu Aliyu has underscored the administration of Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura, saying that he should forget about the 2015 general elections.
Speaking to newsmen in Lafia, the state capital, Adamu said that the electorates are disappointed with the performance of the governor and no longer have confidence in his government.
He ascertained that Almakura cannot deliver the state to APC in 2015 because of his lack of experience and capacity.
Adamu, who is also the chairman of the Nasarawa Patriotic Movement, NPM, said the aspirations of the governor could ruin the chances of the party in the state during the 2015 general elections.
He claims that high rate of unemployment in the state has drastically reduced the popularity of the governor in the state.
He added that the poverty level has gradually risen because of lack of youth empowerment and initiative.
He said as a stakeholder in the APC he wouldn’t want a situation that the party will loss elections but rather the governor should bury his aspiration for 2015.
“We brought Al-makura but we are surprised that he abandoned the manifestos of party and took to another dimension that has not only cause problems to the party but also disenchantment among members.
“I urged him to concentrate on the little he has achieve and allow somebody with more focus and experience”.
