Ashleigh Plumptre is in buoyant mood following her return to the Super Falcons, Prompt News reports.
Plumptre was named in Nigeria’s squad for the international friendly against France by caretaker coach, Justine Madugu on Sunday.
The Super Falcons are scheduled to take on the Les Bleues at the Stade Raymond Kopa, Angers on Saturday.
The centre-back was previously sidelined for a long spell due to an ACL injury.
The injury forced her to miss the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
” Feels great to have made the super falcons list for the upcoming international games.Good opportunity to fight for the badge again 💯” Plumptre wrote on the social media.
The 25-year-old has made 17 league appearances for Nigeria
