Organisers of the Nigerian Sports Award have heaped praises on Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and other awardees at the second edition of the award ceremony held in Lagos last week.
The General Manager, Unmissable Incentives Limited, organisers of the award, Mr. Kayode Idowu expressed his organisation’s heartfelt congratulation to all award winners in various categories especially the Delta State helmsman, Uduaghan who picked the Best Governor of the year.
“Coming tops among the bests in various categories is not a mean feat and we believe that this award will further spur you to do more to sports development in Nigeria and on the globe.
“We also thank His Excellency, the Delta State Governor, Dr. Uduaghan who attended the event in person to receive his plague. We appreciate his contributions to the success of the second edition of the Nigerian Sports Award.
“However, we have renewed our commitment to further improve on this concept to reward excellence and make it an opium of sports development in Nigeria,” Idowu assured.
A total of fourteen personalities which includes; Sportsman of the Year Award, Sportswoman of the Year Award, Footballer of the Year Award (Male & Female), Ball Sports Person of the Year Award, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, Discovery of the Year, Track & Field Star of the Year, School Sports Award, Administrator of the Year, Sports Journalist of the Year (Print & Electronic) and Sports Governor of the year were awarded.
