With Nigeria’s U-20 women’s football team, Falconets set to do battle with their South African counterparts this weekend at Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane, the team’s leading goalscorer, Rashidat Ajibade has predicted an away victory for her team this weekend.
Speaking ahead of Falconets departure for South Africa on Wednesday, Ajibade hinted that the players will do all that is possible to grind out victory in South Africa.
According to the FC Robo of Lagos player the team has trainied very hard to deserve an away win no matter how difficult the South African team may try to prove.
“We have prepared very well for the epic encounter with the South Africans in their back yard. I believe we have the quality to get a favourable result from this match”, she said.
Ajibade has scored a total of five goals for the Falconets to be amongst the leading goal scorers the qualifiers.
