The Anti-Corruption Network will on November 12 and 13 hold its maiden International Colloquium on Freedom of Information Act, 2011.
A statement by group’s Executive Secretary, Dino Melaye, the event with the theme: “Demystifying the Complexities: Empowering the People” has been scheduled to take place at NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja by 10:00 am daily.
Melaye, a former member of the House of Representatives said, “Speakers are coming from London, United States of America and South Africa.
“The programme is going to be certificated and it is free. We want to raise public enlightenment on the Act. We want to use the FoI Act to fight corruption.”
