Expectedly, confusion and rowdiness characterized the ongoing Sports Federations General Elections at the main bowl of the Abuja National Stadium.
As at the time of filing this report, no Federation has concluded its general election.
Except Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) which does not fall into the present Elections no other Federation out of the 31 including Athletics and Basketball has produced elected board.
Although, Nigeria Basketball Federation ( NBBF) had yesterday in far away Kano State claimed to have conducted Basketball election but which the Sports ministry has described as a sham, all the Federation Elections are yet to produce winners.
In Athletics, Rugby and Cricket Federations, there were fisticuffs as some candidates and delegates had to be separated by law enforcement officers drafted by the Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung to keep the peace.
Meanwhile, the latest information from the camp of NBBF revealed that Musa Kida has been elected unopposed in an election which took place in Abuja.
