As the Pipul TV Nationwide League One enters match day two this weekend across the federation, Shola Ogunnowo has sai d that the League body and the entire football stakeholders are happy with the proceedings from match day one that recorded 7 away wins and they are thrilled with the scintilating football in the league.
“We are very happy with the results that came out from the match day one of the league. We had 7 away wins, 9 draws and 13 home wins and that is very good development for our league and we hope that this will continue as the league progresses in the season.
He noted further that there was no violence recorded at the league venues, even the clubs that lost at away took it good light , with the understanding that they will have to work harder to get a favourable result in the next game.
“We did not hear of any negative incident at our league venues and the clubs that lost at home did not complain of any poor officiating and this is good for our referees and the progress of the league” he said.
He, however charged the administrators of clubs in the league to maintain law and order at the various league venues and ensure that atmosphere of peace prevail always before , during and at the end of every football game .
“ The league have began well and i want to appeal to the administrators of the clubs to ensure that peace and tranquility prevail always at the league venues before the game , during the game and after the game” he concluded.
