ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari, today observed the Friday Jumat prayer at Aso Rock mosque.
“President Muhammadu Buhari observes Jumat prayer at the State House, Abuja,” his Personal Assistant on Social Media, Bashir Ahmed, had tweeted.
Mr. Buhari was billed to observe the prayer alongside the President of Niger Republic, Mahamadou Issoufou, who was scheduled to visit before the latter called it off on Thursday.
For two weeks now, President Buhari has not been seen in public.
He has also not attended any official function in public since he returned from extended medical vacation in the United Kingdom on March 10, 2017.
