The Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung has lost his first wife, Mrs. Briskila Dalung.
According to the Minister who announced this on his Facebook wall, she died on Sunday morning.
Mr. Dalung who says it’s a Black Sunday wrote, “For it is appointed for man to live thereafter come death and judgment says the Holy Bible.
“While in the Quran, it states that it is appointed that every soul shall test death.
“My heart is heavy, I cannot continue, I lost my first wife, Mrs. Briskila this morning.
“May her soul and the souls of faithful departed rest in the bosom of the Lord, amen.
“What a black Sunday.”
The Sports Minister is currently attending African Union meeting on sports in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
He is expected back in the country tomorrow, Monday.
