The deadly Boko Haram insurgents have attacked yet another school in Yobe state on Saturday night, killing several students.
This time around, a College of Agriculture, Gujba, about 50 kilometers south of Damaturu, the state capital was attacked.
Several dead bodies are still being recovered from the bush, hostels and classrooms, a staff of the school confirmed to Channels Television.
Those who survived are at the moment said to be making efforts to re-unite with their families in fear of further attacks by the insurgents.
On Wednesday and Thursday nights, the insurgents also attacked two villages in Borno, killing no fewer than 27 people, including a village head.
As at the time of filling this report, security agencies are yet to issue official statement on the Borno and Yobe attacks.
Nigerian Army authorities recently established a Division headed by a General Commanding Officer (GOC) of major general rank with the special task to counter terrorism in the north east frontline states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.
