Super Eagles and Chelsea FC midfielder, John Mikel Obi recorded his first premiership goal when he scored his side’s second goal as they defeated London neighbors Fulham 2-0 in an English premiership match on Saturday.
Mikel scored his first goal after 185 games in 7 seasons in his first ever premiership goal for the London club.
He has scored in a cup game for his team but was yet to score a league goal until now and this goal will give Mikel and his team mates the confidence they need for the season.
Mikel’s last goal before now was in Super Eagles 2-1 loss to Uruguay at the FIFA Confederation Cup in Brazil where he scored a screamer from 25 yards.
