The APC governorship candidate in Oyo State, Sen. Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, on his 58th birthday.
Alli, in a statement, described Sanusi as a distinguished engineer, community leader and philanthropist whose commitment to humanity deserves recognition.
He said Sanusi’s life exemplifies generousity, purposeful leadership and service to society, noting that his influence extends beyond his professional achievements to community development and the welfare of the less-privileged.
Alli said Sanusi’s commitment to uplifting people and supporting worthy causes demonstrates the importance of responsible leadership, particularly at a time communities needed individuals willing to deploy their resources, influence and experience to address societal challenges.
According to the APC governorship candidate, Sanusi’s traditional titles, including Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka of Ibadanland, reflect the recognition of his leadership and commitment to the development of his people and community.
He said the birthday provides another opportunity to celebrate Sanusi’s contributions and encourage greater commitment to the development of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria.
Alli urged the celebrant to remain steadfast in his philanthropic engagements, stressing that the true measure of influence is not merely the positions occupied or titles held, but the positive impact made on people’s lives and the enduring legacies created for future generations.
He said Nigeria needs more citizens who would combine professional excellence with compassion, patriotism and readiness to contribute to the common good.
Alli added that Sanusi’s birthday should inspire renewed dedication to community service, youth empowerment and initiatives that expands opportunities for vulnerable members of society.
The APC governorship candidate prayed for renewed strength, sound health, wisdom and greater accomplishments for Sanusi.
