Nigerian comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as AY, has hinted that singer Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, could be heading towards the end of his marriage to Natasha Osawaru.
Prompt News reports AY made the remark while performing at Daddy Showkey’s 50th anniversary concert in Lagos, where he joked about the singer’s ongoing marital troubles.
The comedian revealed that 2Baba was once his neighbour before his relationship with Natasha, whom he said later relocated the singer to Benin and Abuja.
Reflecting on the current situation between the couple, AY suggested that 2Baba might eventually return to being his neighbour.
“Una know say 2Baba na my former neighbor before dem relocate am to Benin/Abuja.
“But the way things dey go so, e be like say he go join me back. I dey observe things. Una think say na only me go dey alone? All of us go collect. You understand wetin I talked abi? Una dey observe abi?” he asked the audience.

AY’s comments come amid reports and public discussions surrounding difficulties in 2Baba and Natasha’s marriage.
The comedian has maintained a long-standing relationship with 2Baba and has often defended the singer whenever he faced criticism or backlash from the public.
AY has also had his own experience with marital separation. He and his wife, Mabel Makun, announced their separation in April 2024 after about two decades of marriage.
