Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has urged men to avoid holding grudges against their wives, stressing that communication remains one of the most important parts of marriage.
In a post shared on X, the actor advised men to address issues directly with their partners instead of resorting to silence or prolonged conflict.
“Men, don’t keep malice with your wife. You’re the head of your home,” he wrote.
“No matter what your wife does to you, have a one-on-one conversation with her about it, tell her your mind and iron things out. It might be her fault, or she could be reacting to something you did to her.
“You can only find out when you communicate. Weak men avoid difficult conversations. Real men discuss issues no matter how tough they are.
“Communication is highly essential in marriage.”
The actor, who is known for frequently sharing opinions on relationships and family matters online, has made several controversial comments about marriage in recent years.
Earlier, Edochie advised men to walk away from relationships where they feel disrespected. In another post shared in 2024, he also encouraged unmarried women to propose to their partners if they believed the relationship was no longer progressing.
The movie star has remained a major topic of discussion since 2022 after unveiling actress Judy Austin as his second wife and announcing the birth of their child together. The revelation sparked backlash online, especially from supporters of his first wife, May Edochie.

Yul’s latest comments come amid the public drama involving TV host Frank Edoho and his estranged wife Sandra Edoho.
Frank had previously described himself as the “king of malice” while discussing how he handles disagreements in relationships.
“The best punishment I can give a woman is malice. I can stay in the same house with you, but I’ll not talk to you if you cross the line. My wife knows now. I am the king of malice. I will not talk to you,” he said.
