Nollywood actress Judy Austin has expressed frustration over what she described as the growing trend of people wishing for families to fall apart for personal gain.
In a lengthy post shared on Instagram, the actress lamented that many individuals now prioritise money and online attention above family values and human compassion.
According to her, social media has contributed to a culture where people chase traffic and engagement at the expense of others’ happiness and stability.
“Most people have lost sight of what is important in life; everybody wants to make money at all costs! Regardless of the consequences!” she wrote.
She further stated that material possessions now appear to matter more to many people than relationships and family unity.
“Material things mean everything to most people now. Family used to mean everything, but now, people give that up just for traffic on their pages!
“Some people pray for families to break up so they can profit from it,” she added.

“Most people are humans without humanity. People are so disrespectful, and they call it being woke. Social media made all of us age mates,” she said.
