The Super Falcons will now face another qualified team for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in a friendly next month after their planned training tour of the United Kingdom was cancelled, Prompt News reports.
Justine Madugu’s side were initially scheduled to take on Jamaica in a friendly later this month as part of preparations for the 2026 WAFCON.
However, the Reggae Girlz pulled out of the fixture due to administrative issues.
Nigeria will instead host another WAFCON-bound side in a two-legged friendly during the June international window from June 7 to 14.
The Super Falcons are targeting a record-extending 11th WAFCON title at the tournament in Morocco this July.
The nine-time African champions have been drawn in Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia and Egypt.
