Super Eagles new invitees Usman Mohammed and Salim Fago Lawal were put through a special drill on Monday night, Prompt News reports.
Mohammed and Lawal spent time with the team’s fitness trainer in the final session before tonight’s clash with the Taifa Stars of Tanzania.
They later joined the rest of the squad for full team training.
The duo are among the 10 new players, who will be making their maiden AFCON appearance for the Super Eagles.
Mohammed,31, was part of the home-based Super Eagles side to the 2016 African Nations Championship, CHAN.
The midfielder also featured for the U-23 Eagles at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games .
Lawal was part of Flying Eagles squad to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
