British boxer and DJ Cuppy’s ex-fiancé, Ryan Taylor, has lashed out at Nigerians criticising him over a remark he made about the Nigerian disc jockey.
The backlash followed a Father’s Day post Taylor shared on Instagram, where he celebrated the occasion with heartwarming photos of his daughter.
In the caption, he pledged to fight racism by having mixed-race children.

Amid reactions, a social media user pointed out that the child looked like DJ Cuppy, prompting Taylor to throw a subtle jab that didn’t sit well with many Nigerians.
Responding to the outrage, Taylor took to his Instagram story to defend himself and his current partner, calling out critics for dragging his family into the drama.
“Today is a special day.
Nigerians gotta chill out you come for the mother of my child and think I won’t back it? Don’t come on my page talking shit and cry when I speak.
I NEVER signed the Contract.
I will always say what I want and do what is right for me or my family.
I haven’t said shit yet everyone gotta chill,” he wrote.
Taylor and DJ Cuppy ended their engagement in 2023, months after announcing their relationship.
