Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has characterized the act of begging as an obstacle to achieving one’s full potential.
He emphasized the necessity of cultivating a mindset that rejects begging, as it restricts individuals from realizing their capabilities.
Furthermore, he advocated for the importance of identifying, developing, and monetizing one’s skills, asserting that greatness cannot be attained through begging.
Yul wrote on his Instagram page, “Sometimes tell yourself, ‘I will not beg’.
“No matter how difficult things are, if you form the habit of begging all the time, you will never reach your full potential.
“Sometimes, God sends tough times to challenge you to dig deep within you. Find the legit skills He has blessed you with, develop and monetize them.
“Unfortunately some people will rather beg than hustle. You can never become great by begging.”
