Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has elicited significant reactions following his assertion that Adura, the brother of the late singer Mohbad, sought ₦3million in exchange for a video purportedly showing the singer engaged in a confrontation with his wife.
Fabiyi revealed this during a recent World Press Conference aimed at advocating for justice for Mohbad.
He alleged that Adura possessed further information regarding the singer, who passed away on 12th of September, 2023.
He claimed, “Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s younger brother, sent me a DM after listening to me for a while and reacting in the comment section. When he realised that I didn’t see the DM in time, he asked me to check my DM, and lo and behold, he offered to give me a video of a fight between the late singer Mohbad and his wife for ₦3 million.”
At that point in the press conference, Mohbad’s mother interrupted, visibly distressed, and condemned the actor for disparaging her only surviving son.
This led to the heated argument between Yomi Fabiyi and the singer’s mother, who believed that the actor was trying to implicate her only son.
