Nigeria international Vivian Ikechukwu has joined Mexican side Santa Laguna on a permanent transfer.
Ikechukwu joined Santa Laguna from another Mexican outfit, Cruz Azul.
The 27-year-old made 10 league appearances for Cruz Azul before the leaving the club.
The striker expressed her delight on completing the move.
“I felt very happy as I am going to become a warrior because I will be joining the warriors,” she told the club’s official website.
“I love the fact that Mexico is well communicated. I love the fact that they speak Spanish because I love the language.”
She has made 10 appearances for Nigeria with two goals to her name.
