Victor Boniface is set to sign a new bumper contract at Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen.
The Nigeria international is reportedly a transfer target for Manchester United.
Boniface only arrived the BayArena in 2023, but Leverkusen have decided to offer him a new contract to ward off the interest of European big guns, according to Transfer News Live.
The 23-year-old’s current contract will expire in 2028.
The powerful striker has established himself as Die Werkself’s leading marksman since his arrival at the club.
The 23-year-old registered 21 goals and 10 assists to help Xabi Alonso’s side win the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal last season.
He has has produced seven goals and one assist in 13 appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side this season.
