Nigeria’s Flamingos have settled down in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic as they kick-start the final phase of their preparation ahead of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Bankole Olowookere’s side arrived the Dominican Republic capital on Thursday for a two-week training exercise.
The players had a light training session on Friday as they get down to serious work.
They are expected to engage in few friendlies before the start of the competition.
Nigeria will confront hosts Dominican Republic, Ecuador and New Zealand in Group A.
The West Africans first game is against New Zealand on October 16.
Dominican Republic will host the competition from October 16 to November 3.
