Premier League giants Arsenal are back in the race for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports in Italy.
The Gunners would be prepared to pay €100m for the striker.
Osimhen signed a new contract last December which has a €130m release clause.
No club has however come close to paying the release clause.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal are ready to pay €100m for the Nigeria international.
The 25-year-old was top scorer in Serie A when Napoli won the Scudetto in 2023, finding the net 26 times in 32 games.
He also scored five goals in six Champions League matches for the Partenopei.
Last season, he suffered with injuries and was kept away for two months by Nigeria’s run to the Africa Cup of Nations Final, so scored only 15 in 25 Serie A appearances, plus two in six Champions League games.
