Former international, Victor Ikpeba says embattled Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George has the full support of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
A large section of Nigerian supporters have called for Finidi’s sack following the Super Eagles poor display in the
recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against South Africa and Benin Republic.
The Super Eagles held South Africa to a 1-1 draw and lost 2-1 to Benin Republic.
Ikpeba, a member of the NFF technical committee is not thinking about sacking the coach.
“Nigerians asked for a local coach and Finidi was found to be the best man to lead the Super Eagles at this time,” Ikpeba was quoted by SCORENigeria.

“Finidi will therefore continue to enjoy the full support of the NFF despite the recent results posted by the Super Eagles.”
