Rangers are in buoyant mood following Kenneth Igboke’s maiden invitation to the Super Eagles.
Igboke was added to the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic by head coach Finidi George on Tuesday.
The left-back will take the place of Victor Osimhen, who has been ruled out of the games due to injury.
Igboke has been impressive for Rangers in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
The Flying Antelopes took to the social media to celebrate his invitation.
“Dear Kenneth Igboke,
Congratulations on your first National team call-up 🇳🇬 for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against South Africa🇿🇦 and Benin Republic🇧🇯. We’re incredibly proud of you and confident you’ll make us all proud.
“Best of luck, Igboke,” wrote the Flying Antelopes.
The Super Eagles will entertain Bafana Bafana at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday, June 7. READ ALSO:

The former African champions will then travel to Abidjan where they will be guests of Benin three days later.
