The Super Falcons of Nigeria sealed a place in the women’s football event at the 2024 Olympic Games courtesy of a 0-0 draw against their hosts Banyana Banyana of South Africa.
The West Africans secured qualification to Paris 2024 1-0 on aggregate.
Randy Waldrum’s side were totally in ascendancy during the first half but struggled to create any clear cut opportunity.
Chiwendu Ihezuo recorded Nigeria’s only shot on target of the half.
The Banyana Banyana raised their game after the break but Nigeria stood firm at the back.
