Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel was at the centre of chaotic scenes after the Turkish Super Lig clash between his club, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor on Sunday night.
Fenerbahce defeated their hosts 3-2 to keep up pace with leaders Galatasaray at the top of the table.
Some Trabzonspor fans expressed their anger by rushing onto the field after the final whistle.
The fans targeted Fenerbahce players, who gathered around the centre circle to celebrate the win.
In the midst of the chaos, Osayi Samuel was captured on camera delivering a fist attack to a masked Trabzonspor fan.
The scenes of chaos continued as stewards chased individuals across the pitch, with conflicts erupting in various areas of the ground.
Osayi-Samuel, who was cautioned in the 82nd minute was in action for 90 minutes in the game.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals in 16 league appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
