Two men, Semiu Lawal, 42, Olamilekan Adedapo, 38, were on Thursday docked in an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, for allegedly stealing 500 litres of diesel worth N640,000.
The duo, whose residential addresses were not provided, were charged with conspiracy and theft.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Iyabo Oladoyin, told the court that the defendants allegedly committed the offences on March 12, at about 7. 30 a.m. at New Garage area, Ibadan.
Oladoyin alleged that the defendants stole the diesel belonging to one Lukman Azeez.
She said the offences contravened Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Mrs Adebola Adeola, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N650,000 each with one surety each in like sum.
She adjourned the case till April 25 for hearing. (NAN)
