Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has said his focus is now on the quarter-final clash with Angola.
The three-time champions zoomed into the last eight at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 2-0 victory over perennial rivals Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Saturday night.
Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman scored both goals for the West Africans.
The Super Eagles will lock horns with the Palancas Negras on the same ground next week Friday.
Peseiro admitted that his side can’t afford to underrate the Palancas Negras, who have enjoyed a stellar campaign so far. READ ALSO:

“We will now focus on our next match against Angola, which is having an excellent tournament,”the Portuguese told the media at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
“We must take this opponent seriously, so we will continue to sleep early and eat pasta (laughs). Jokes aside, all the teams at this stage are capable of winning the tournament.”
