Ademola Lookman says his Nigeria teammates’ collective effort is responsible for the win over Cameroon.
The Super Eagles secured their place in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 2-0 victory against the Indomitable Lions on Saturday night.
Lookman scored twice for the Super Eagles in the keenly contested encounter played at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
The Atalanta winger who was named Man of the Match, said: “Wow, we’re so happy to qualify for the quarter-finals.
“The more we play together, the more fluid we become. I’m standing here now but this award reflects the whole team’s performance.” READ ALSO:

The Super Eagles will face the Palancas Negras in the last eight next week Friday.
