Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has said it is important for the Super Eagles not to underrate Guinea-Bissau.
Guinea-Bissau are winless at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after losing their opening two games to hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea.
The Super Eagles are the favourites to beat the Djurtus following their impressive victory against Cote d’Ivoire on Thursday.
Peseiro said it is important for his side to remain humble going into game.
“We beat Cote d’Ivoire, it’s good for us, our confidence and what we want to achieve in this competition,” Peseiro said during his interaction with the media on Sunday.
“It also improve our confidence, but we also need to show more commitment. We have to respect the opponent.
“Guinea-Bissau have good players, they can beat any team. We have so many shocking results in this competition already.” READ ALSO:
