A new commandant, Mr Adaralewa Akintayo, has assumed office at the Osun Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
ASC Adeleke Kehinde, Osun NSCDC Spokesperson, in a statement on Thursday in Osogbo, said Akintayo replaced Mr Agboola Sunday, who had been redeployed to Ekiti State.
“The Commandant-General of NSCDC, Mr Ahmed Audi, has approved the redeployment of Mr Adaralewa Micheal Akintayo to Osun State Command.
“The newly redeployed Commandant is succeeding Mr Agboola Sunday who has been redeployed to Ekiti State,” Kehinde said.
She added that the new commandant who hails from Aisegba Ekiti in Gbonyin Local Government of Ekiti State, holds a Bsc degree in Chemical Sciences and a Ph.D in Public Administrations.
“He has attended remarkable array of courses both home and abroad which includes, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives course,” she said.
