Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has revealed the team’s mission going to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Jose Peseiro’s men will head into the competition looking to win a fourth title.
Musa, who was part of Super Eagles side that conquered the rest of the continent in South Africa in 2013 is upbeat the team can repeat the feat this around.
“Everybody is excited, waiting for us to travel to Abidjan for the competition,”Musa told NFF TV.
“Since the last game in Uyo, we have been talking, telling each other that it is time for us to go there and shine.
“We have the quality to win it, if you see the players in the 25-man squad , you can’t say we are not going to win.
“You know in football anything can happen, but we have the mindset to win it. The coach has already said his target is to win the AFCON and by God’s grace we are going to win it.” READ ALSO:
