Super Falcons interim head coach, Justine Madugu says his team want to do double over Cape Verde.
Nigeria thrashed the Cape Verdeans 5-0 in the first leg of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Abuja last week.
The second leg is billed for the Estadio Nacional de Capo Verde, Praia on Tuesday (today).
Ahead of the game, Madugu said his players are poised to record another victory against their hosts.
“We are not taking anything into chance with the blend of players that we have. We are not taking anything for granted. We are here to play and win irrespective of the position. We will try and impress so that they can get disgraced at home,” Madugu said in a short video posted on the team’s X handle.
“No matter how great your team is, you will always notice few areas you can improve on. We have noticed some few areas we feel they can work harder so that they will perfect at least what we have noticed either offensively or defensively.” READ ALSO:
