A 19-year-old boy, Zakariya Saad, has been arrested by operatives of Adamawa State Police Command for allegedly killing Muhammed Yahaya, 17.
According to a statement by the spokesperson for the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, Zakariya was arrested on Tuesday from his residence in Wuro Hausa, Yola South Local Government Area.
He disclosed further that the arrest of Zakariya followed a tip-off that “a young yet-to-be-identified person was seen lying in a pool of blood with a stab wound around his neck.” READ ALSO:

Nguroje however, said that “The Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola directs Deputy Commissioner of Police CID to take over investigation and ensure diligent prosecution.”
The Police PPRO added that police operatives removed the injured boy to the hospital, where he was certified dead.
