The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Sunday announced that Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has agreed a contract extension.
The announcement put an end to speculations over Peseiro’s future.
PROMPT NEWS reports that the 63-year-old’s previous contract expired in May.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Peseiro will now earn $60,000 on a monthly basis, a reduction from his previous $70,000 salary.
The latest contract will expire after the end of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations slated for next January in Cote d’Ivoire. READ ALSO:

Peseiro as part of the new agreement will cut down his foreign assistants.
NFF has promised to pay his outstanding salaries in batches.
