England received a big boost ahead of their Round of 16 clash against Nigeria with the return to training of star midfielder, Kiera Walsh.
Walsh sustained an injury in England’s second fixture against Haiti.
There were fears the Barcelona star will not play again at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Three Lionesses manager, Sarina Wiegman has allayed those fears and revealed that Walsh is back in training.
“She’s doing well. She started her rehab straight after we knew what was going on,”Waigman told reporters ahead of the game. READ ALSO:

“She has been on the pitch, she has been training today, now we are waiting to see how she recovered from that training session and if she does well then she is available for tomorrow.”
