“This road project will be completed within two weeks, according to team of engineers supervising it.
“We thank the past Enugu State Government of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi who started the one-kilometre road and expect the new government in the state to come and complete it,” he said.
The traditional ruler commended the owner of Ferotex Construction Company Ltd., who gave the community road construction machines free of charge.
“We thank Ferotex for giving us heavy duty construction machines free of charge, we will only fuel them and use them to do the construction work,” he said.
Asadu expressed appreciation to all members of his community for their maximum support and cooperation since he was coronated last year as the traditional ruler of Eden-Ani.

“On behalf of the community, I applaud our traditional ruler who is funding this project. What Asadu thinks every minute is about the progress and development of Eden-Ani.
“Our prayer is that God will grant him long life and replenish his pocket,” he said .
Ugwuoke said when completed, the road would make it easier for farmers in the area to go to Nsukka town to sell their farm produce.
