The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO) has commiserated with the people and government of Bayelsa State over the death of some supporters of the First Lady in a fatal motor accident.
A statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity of the APCPCO, Garba Shehu on Sunday urged families of all those who may have lost their loved ones in the tragedy to take solace in the comfort of God.
“It is with a painful heart that we commiserate with the People and Government of Bayelsa over the ghastly auto crash involving some supporters of the First Lady.
“We pray that God will grant the bereaved families the fortitude to bear the losses, while urging the People and Government of Bayelsa State to be comforted and strengthened by God even as they grief the loss of dear ones.”
Meanwhile, the First Lady, Patience Faka Jonathan has also commiserated with the Government and people of Bayelsa State, over the death of some prominent Bayelsa women in a motor accident around Elele in Rivers State, on their way to Bayelsa.
A statement by Ayo Adewuyi, stated that “The First Lady prays the Almighty God to grant the souls of the deceased eternal rest and the families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
