Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has secured victory in Bayelsa, Yobe, Adamawa, Gombe and Bauchi states.
Atiku’s victory was confirmed at the Baylesa State presidential election collation centre in the small hours of Tuesday.
The PDP scored a total of 68,818 topping the 49,975 of Labour Party’s Peter Obi and 42,572 of the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
In Adamawa, Atiku polled 417, 611 votes, followed by Tinubu with 182,881
ans Obi – 105,648.
The PDP candidate also won in Yobe state polling 198,567 while Tinubu polled 151,459 and Obi 2,406 votes.
In Kebbi Atiku polled 285,175 votes Sen. Bola Tinubu, polled 248,088 votes while Peter Obi, also scored 10,682 votes.
He also won in Sokoto, Bauchi and Gombe States.
