Victor Osimhen can’t hide his excitement after he was presented with the Globe Soccer award for the Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year.
Osimhen got the award ahead of Barcelona star Gavi and Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde.
The Nigeria international was recognized for his exemplary performances for Serie A club, Napoli.
The forward was announced winner of the prestigious award last December but couldn’t attend the ceremony in Dubai.
Power Horse CEO, Salvatore Caizzone was joined by Napoli’s Sporting Director Cristiano Giuintoli, and Enrico Bendoni of Globe Soccer handed the award to Osimhen in Naples on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old is the current top scorer in Serie A with 10 goals from 13 matches.
