Girondis Bordeaux forward, Josh Maja hopes to maintain his current blistering form in front of goal, reports Prompt News.
Maja scored twice to help Bordeaux draw 2-2 against Caen in a French Ligue 2 tie on Tuesday night.
He opened scoring for Bordeaux as early as the fourth minute .
The striker made it 2-0 in favour of his club in the 25th minute after being set up by Yoann Barbet while he was substituted for Aliou Badji in the 70th minute.
“If we are going to keep this intensity? Yes, we need to continue on this path,”the Nigerian was quoted by Girondins4Ever.
“We started this game well, we scored two goals early in the game, so it’s good, we have to continue. Yes, it’s my fourth goal in the last three games. My fitness? It’s just work.
“Hard work always pays. I continued to work with my teammates and I hope that I will continue like that.”
The 24-year-old has contributed 10 goals and three assists in 18 Ligue 2 appearances this season.
