West Ham United will look to bring Ola Aina back to England as they look to bolster their defence, Prompt News reports.

The Hammers came close to signing the Nigeria international from Serie A club, Torino in the summer before the move stalled.

West Ham, according to the Evening Standard are expected to revive their interest in Aina when the transfer window reopens in January as they desperately need a cover at  full-back.

The 26-year-old can operate as a right and left full-back.

Manager David Moyes has seen Vladimir Coufal struggled this season, while Ben Johnson is injury prone.

Aaron Cresswell other hand is ageing and his performance has dropped.

The London club will explore the possibility of signing Aina in January.

Aina has six months left on his contract with Torino and the Turin club might be tempted to sell next month instead of allowing go on a free transfer next summer.
